1. What data we collect
Your email address and your Stripe purchase ID - that is what it takes to issue your license key and send it to you.
2. What we do NOT collect
Your speech, your dictations, or the content of what you write. That stays on your Mac and is only sent to OpenAI, directly, through your own key. hiSpoke has no telemetry and no user account.
3. What the app sends out
Two things leave your Mac: your audio and the raw text, sent to OpenAI through your own API key, and an update check against hispoke.com that only asks whether a newer version exists - no content is included. At purchase there is additionally a single license check.
4. Data processors
Stripe (payment), Resend (receipt and license email), Supabase (database for license keys) and Vercel (hosting plus cookie-free visitor statistics). We use no tracking cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, or deletion of, your data under GDPR at any time. Email support@hispoke.com.
6. Retention
Purchase data is kept as long as bookkeeping law requires. Beyond that you can ask to have your details deleted.
7. Data controller
