Get your OpenAI API key
The most important setup in all of hiSpoke. Without a valid key with a balance, the app can’t transcribe - set aside 5 minutes.

Go to platform.openai.com, and log in or create an account.

Under "Billing" → add a card and top up a balance (minimum ~$5).

Go to "API keys" → "Create new secret key". Name it, e.g. "hiSpoke".

Copy the key right away - it’s only shown once - and paste it into hiSpoke under General → API key.
